Concept Development

Our process begins with a customized questionnaire designed to understand your desired outcome and preferences. By asking the right questions, we can create a personalized shoot that aligns with your vision and exceeds your expectations. Next, we schedule a pre-shoot consultation either over the phone or via Zoom to finalize the details of your dream shoot. This consultation lets us establish a relationship with you, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident before the shoot. We tailor our approach to each individual's goals and style, ensuring a unique experience for every session. By understanding your unique personality and preferences, we can capture your essence in the photos, creating a unique experience you'll cherish for years to come. To ensure that everything is taken care of, we will send a follow-up email consultation before the shoot to confirm the plans. This provides peace of mind and ensures everything is in place for the shoot, minimizing potential stress or confusion.

Clothing
​
Clothing plays a critical role in determining the success of a photo session, which is why all of our consultations start with an extensive wardrobe consultation. If you plan on bringing your own clothing, we recommend giving yourself two weeks to assemble your wardrobe, giving you plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments. To ensure that your wardrobe is appropriate for your photo session, we recommend that you send us photos of yourself wearing your chosen outfit.
 
We understand that your life can be hectic, which is why we offer an optional wardrobe styling service at an additional cost to make things easier for you. This service can help relieve the stress of shopping and ensure that your outfit is perfect for your shoot.

That's why I am here to provide guidance and support.With my experience as a former model, I am highly skilled in directing my subjects to achieve their desired look. My expertise and sensitivity to my subjects' needs will ensure that your photo session is both productive and enjoyable.
 
Hair & Makeup

Having a professional hair and makeup artist on hand can elevate your photo session and take your modeling portfolio to the next level. Not only will you look your best on camera, but you'll feel confident and relaxed, allowing you to focus on your poses and expressions. Our experienced makeup artist will work with you to create the perfect look for your shoot.

Retouching
​
At our studio, we take pride in offering top-notch retouching services that can elevate your photos to the same level of perfection you see in fashion magazines. Our team is skilled in delivering retouched images that range from high-end, achieving a flawless and magazine-quality look, to natural and subtle enhancements.

Scheduling & Payments 
​
Book a photo session with us Wednesday-Sunday, starting at 11 am, or choose a different date and time that suits you. We accept most major credit cards, cash, checks, Paypal/Venmo, ACH transfers, or Zelle for payment. Begin your modeling journey by sending us an email. Once we agree on the session date, I'll send a reservation link for you to virtually sign the contract and pay the session fee online. Please note that full payment of the session fee is required to secure your spot in our calendar. To ensure a smooth experience, please avoid scheduling any crucial appointments immediately after the shoot, as we may need some extra time with you.

We understand that plans change! If you need to modify your session date, please do so at least 72 hours in advance. This allows us to open up the time slot for another client and also helps you avoid losing your non-refundable deposit. To reschedule your appointment, please contact us directly by phone or text. We are happy to accommodate your needs as best we can.

Photo Session Day 
​
On the day of your shoot, we'll start by reviewing your wardrobe and mood board to reconfirm the direction of the shoot. We're happy to play your favorite music; just let us know. Next, we'll begin with hair and makeup, starting with a natural look and building up throughout the session to create a variety of versatile looks. Our studio is conveniently located on Manhattan's UES.

After the Photo Session
​
Expect an email from Pixieset within 5 business days with 150-200 top shots from your session. After you and your agent make selections, our team will retouch the images for enhanced quality and reduced distractions, taking 7 business days.
 
Upon completion, you'll receive high and low-resolution files via Wetransfer. Please download the files within 7 days as we don't store them. We recommend backing them up on external storage or cloud platforms.
