Our process starts with a personalized questionnaire to understand your vision. During a phone or Zoom consultation, we'll work together to bring your dream shoot to life. We believe that every session should be unique, that's why we tailor our approach to fit your specific goals and style. And to make sure every detail is covered, we'll follow up with an email consultation to finalize the plans. Let's create something truly special together!

 

HAIR & MAKEUP

A professional makeup artist can enhance your natural beauty and transform your look for a photo shoot. Using makeup that matches your skin tone and personal style, they will highlight your best features, giving you a stunning and confident appearance in front of the camera. Although it's not a requirement, we highly recommend professional hair and makeup services to ensure you look and feel your best.

 

WARDROBE

Wardrobe plays a critical role in determining the success of a photo session. We understand that your life can be hectic and to make things easier for you, we offer an optional wardrobe styling service at an additional cost. This service can help relieve the stress of shopping and ensure that your outfit is perfect for your shoot.

 

If you choose to style your shoot yourself, we will provide you with a mood board to guide your wardrobe choices. To ensure that your wardrobe is appropriate for your photo session, we recommend that you send us photos of yourself wearing your chosen outfit. If you plan on bringing your own clothing, we suggest giving yourself two weeks to put together your wardrobe so that you have plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments.

 

SCHEDULING & PAYMENTS

Book a photo session with us Wednesday-Sunday, starting at 11 am, or choose a different date and time that suits you. We accept most major credit cards, cash, checks, Paypal/Venmo, ACH transfers, or Zelle for payment. Begin your modeling journey by sending us an email. Once we agree on the session date, I'll send a reservation link for you to virtually sign the contract and pay the session fee online. Please note that full payment of the session fee is required to secure your spot in our calendar. To ensure a smooth experience, please avoid scheduling any crucial appointments immediately after the shoot, as we may need some extra time with you.

 

PHOTO SESSION DAY

On the day of your shoot, we'll start by reviewing your wardrobe and mood board to reconfirm the direction of the shoot. We're happy to play your favorite music; just let us know. Next, we'll begin with hair and makeup, starting with a natural look and building up throughout the session to create a variety of versatile looks. 

Our studio is conveniently located on Manhattan's UES.

 

AFTER THE PHOTO SESSION

Expect an email from Pixieset within 5 business days with 150-200 top shots from your session. After you and your agent make selections, our team will retouch the images for enhanced quality and reduced distractions, taking 7 business days.

 

Upon completion, you'll receive high and low-resolution files via Wetransfer. Please download the files within 7 days as we don't store them. We recommend backing them up on external storage or cloud platforms.
